Vivienne began painting pastel landscapes in her late 30’s. She then moved on to doing mosaic art, creating both individual pieces as well as collaborative mural projects. More recently she started painting with acrylics. Vivienne received a Certificate in Graphic Design from the Massachusetts College of Art and worked as a graphic designer for many years before becoming an ESL teacher. She has also taught art classes and mosaic workshops to children and adults in a variety of settings.
In addition to visual arts, Vivienne writes poetry and is the author of the children’s book, The Color of Things.
